Thankful

October 28, 2011 by Kristy 9 Comments

10/28/11
8 miles / 1:10 / 8:45 avg pace
*Pure exhaustion.  That sums up today’s run!

I’m thankful that Matt is coming home today.  I didn’t mention this (in case there are any creepers that troll the blog) but he has been away for work for 2 weeks.   Two weeks is a long time.  I cannot wait to see him tonight.

I’m thankful for lululemon priiti crops.  I bought them last weekend and wore them 3 times already this week – for yoga and running. They are amazing.

I’m thankful that Saturday is a rest day.  Enough said!

I’m thankful to see the Mains tomorrow.

I’m thankful my hamstring, hip, and glute are starting to feel better on their own.  I won’t begin ART until next week but this is a good sign.

I’m thankful that my family is healthy.  A year ago my Dad had a double bypass.  He is 100% recovered and good as new.

What are you thankful for?  Big or small…

GOOD LUCK to all the MCMers this Sunday!  I’m very jealous; it’s my favorite marathon.  I cannot wait to read all your race recaps next week!

I’m thankful for having a lovely fireplace for chilly mornings like this one!

I’m glad your husband is back, I know how long those trips can seem!

You mean I could have stalked you and just moved right in for two solid weeks pre-race? WHAT? Sigh. I am going to need to know this for the future.

    Also? Your hubs is adorbs.

And God bless healthy dads. Definitely never take that for granted.

Let’s see – what am I thankful for? Well, the race tomorrow of course. I’m thankful I made it through training with this INSANE trainer (you might know her) injury free. Chick like wanted me to run. Like 4 days a week. Pfft. The nerve.

I’m thankful for my Jacob and his toes. I’m thankful he slept until 6:30 today and I got to shower in peace. Without a face peeking around the curtain going “hi mama! i come in der?”

I need a new pair of running tights…hmmm. I’m glad you’re feeling good and have a lot of happy thoughts 🙂 I’m thankful to be in one piece for NYCM (knock on wood) and am getting excited about it. So I guess that means I’m thankful for ART too. Have a great weekend!

You and your husband are a super cute couple! I’m glad you’ll be reunited this weekend. I would have been sad, too! Also, I love those running pants! You look great!
I am thankful that I had a beautiful run this morning in the park and have a yummy dinner to look forward to tonight. AND my dad had surgery this week and is recovering nicely, so I am happy both our dads are healthy!
