How does online coaching work?
First, we have a phone consultation to discuss your current training and future goals. Based on our discussion, a training plan is created specific to your current fitness and goals – no cookie cutter plans here! Your training plan is delivered in small increments – 3 to 4 weeks at a time – so it can constantly be adapted based on how you are progressing. Your training runs are logged (see more about that in the next question) and feedback is provided. As race day approaches, you will receive a detailed race strategy. And, of course, you have access to a coach 24/7 for questions and concerns.
How do I receive my training plan? How do I log my runs?
Training plans are delivered via Final Surge (FS). You will be given (free) access to FS. Training plans are arranged in a calendar format with detailed instructions for each day. Logging a run is simple – upload your GPS data and enter any comments as you feel necessary. I will provide feedback via FS, creating a record of the conversation for future reference.
I’m nervous about the online coaching aspect. I feel like I won’t get the same level of attention as in-person coaching.
Don’t be fooled by the word online or virtual – it’s very hands on! The training plan you receive will be detailed with exactly what you need to do each day (distance, pace, workout, etc.). Once you log a run it’s reviewed typically within a few hours and feedback is provided. Your training plan is adapted as needed. Each client receives a high level of attention!

How does billing work?
Invoices are sent via PayPal on the 1st of each month and are due on the 8th of each month. There are no contracts to sign or minimum time commitments!
